Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using VocalAI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

VocalAI provides AI-powered audio tools including voice cloning, voice design, vocal removal, voice changing, audio remixing, inpainting, and outpainting. Features and pricing may change at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Credits and Payments

  • Each generation consumes credits from your account balance.
  • Credits are non-refundable once consumed.
  • Subscription credits are issued at the start of each billing period and expire at the end of that period — unused credits do not roll over.
  • All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
  • We reserve the right to adjust credit costs with notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VocalAI to:

  • Clone, impersonate, or synthesise any person's voice without their explicit consent.
  • Create deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading audio content.
  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or violates third-party rights.
  • Circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or abuse the credit system.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of audio you upload and outputs you generate. By using the Service you grant VocalAI a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the requested AI operation. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any audio you upload.

6. Generated Audio

You may use generated audio for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the licences of the underlying AI models (Qwen3-TTS: Apache 2.0; Demucs: MIT; ElevenLabs and WaveSpeed models: their respective terms). It is your responsibility to comply with those upstream licences.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that outputs will meet your requirements, be error-free, or be available without interruption.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VocalAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.
